There are many publishing and book marketing events around the country and abroad to take part in, participate and get to know others in the industry. I'd love to hear your stories, see your pictures and take it all in.
Live events are key networking opportunities. There is nothing like face to face communication to build relationships. Make sure to do some research before the event of who is planning to be there and who you'd like to meet. Then, make an effort to meet them and follow-up with them after the event is done.
When you submit your story, make sure to include information such as:
- Who did you meet?
- What was the highlight of the event?
- Share your favorite pictures.
- What tips did you learn?
- And so forth...
