Are you self publishing ebooks? Because ebooks are selling like crazy. And there seems to be a new ereader out on the market every other day!
However, the most popular platform still remains the Kindle. Even if you don't publish in any other format, I recommend you publish on the Kindle.
Why? It's one of the simplest ways to get published. Amazon takes care of the marketing, delivery and credit card processing for you. Plus, the royalties are as high as 70% for original books priced between $2.99 and $9.99.
I get money deposited every month into my bank account from Kindle, which helps pay our bills! If you're not self publishing ebooks on you could be leaving some extra income behind. I have formatted and use a Kindle template which I have used over and over again.
Have you published on all the ereaders yet? If not, check out Smashwords where their meat grinder technology converts your file into 9 different formats. Then, with their premium catalog, you can publish on multiple platforms including the Nook, iBookstore, Sony, Diesel and more! You can learn more about self publishing ebooks using Smashwords here.
In my opinion, Kindle + Smashwords = Self Publishing Ebook Success!
