I have been wondering how to get more reviews, so thanks for this. I find myself in a never ending circle of confusion about how to spread the word on my novels. There is so much information out there, and I've tried a few things, but nothing seems to make much difference. So far, I have few sales, and few reviews.

Thanks everyone for your entries. Sheryl, there are several different types of reviews that have fees associated with them. I included a chapter in the book about the pros and cons of paid reviews. Short answer: In general, I recommend seeking other review opportunities before considering fee-based reviews.

YES to Online Book Reviews

I have had good success finding Blogs and websites who will publish pre-written book reviews as well as sites that will review a book themselves. I think it is much better than waiting for print publications to get back to me and also then waiting another month or so before the review appears in print. I like the immediacy of online reviews. Dana's book looks incredibly helpful - would love to see a copy!
